System Requirements

2.1 Hardware requirements

• Any Macintosh computer. Essentially, any Mac laptop or desktop with a G3, G4 or G5 PowerPC series microprocessor or an Intel processor.
• At least 256 Mb of RAM
• A network connection, which can consist of any of the following:
  1. an Ethernet/ADSL/Cable connection to either a TCP/IP network or some kind of TCP/IP gateway
  2. a wireless (WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n) connection to a TCP/IP network
  3. a PPP connection to any internet service provider or equivalent
  4. a 56k modem
  5. Firewire TCP/IP network
  6. TCP/IP network via your mobile

2.2 Recommended hardware

• At least 512 Mb of RAM (if you open several connections at the same time)
• A screen with a minimum resolution of 1024x769 or better. Better yet, two monitors :-)
• A direct ethernet, ADSL, Cable connection or Wireless (WiFi) connection.

2.3 Software requirements

• OSX 10.4 and higher

2.4 Recommended software

• OSX 10.4 or whatever is the latest version of the OS.
• OSX is a very powerful Operating System with lots of built-in functionality, so you rarely need to add any additional extensions.
• It is recommened that you keep your system updated with the latest Software Updates and Security Updates.
